The Main Pack Site

Luca chuckled. "Goodnight Dikota." he whispered. He padded outside the den and laid down. The creamy white brute glanced at the dark starry sky. The territory seemed so peaceful at the moment. It wasn't like the war. Luca shivered slightly. The thought of war scared him. All the things that can't be unseen. All those lifes he couldn't save. How useless he was. Luca sighed and rested his head on the floor. Let's hope there's never a war like that again, he thought.

(this is a quick post, got to go to school)

Rain reached the territory of the Main Den. She saw the buck, but wasn't hungry. The starry night shone above her, but yet, she wasn't tired. Something was calling her, towards the river. Curious of what it may be, Rain quickly barked, "Good Night, everyone."

She made her way over to the "border" of the den, then of the river. Taking a small glance back, she walked towards the river.

The tall brute got up and stretched his limbs. He was about to go into the den and sleep until he noticed Rain still wasn't back yet. Luca scanned the area and sniffed around for her scent. He found her scent heading for the river. Luca glanced over at Dikota who was asleep. He shrugged then glanced back at the direction of the river. She's been gone for a while. She may be Alpha female, but it is still risky to go out there alone in this cold night. The white medic decided not to disturb Dikota. She needed her sleep. He turned and quickly headed after Rain's scent.

IC: Emerald opened her green eyes. The crickets buzzed and the soft glow of moonlight lit up the den entrance. As quietly as she could, Emerald stepped outside for a bit of fresh air. She noticed Luca leaving and she gazed after him curiously. She wanted to follow him but he was the Medic and he wouldn't take kindly to that. Instead, Emerald walked back to her spot in the den and settled down. Whatever the problem was, she'd find out in the morning. Closing her eyes and letting the welcoming lull of sleep take over, Emerald drifted off.

Inside a small cave, there was an unexpected, and scared, young creature. The young animal was slowly dying, and he had know idea why his brother was ignoring him. He didn't understand death. He weakly lifted his head up, and then let out an angry chuff at his smaller, and stiff, Brother. How dare you ignore me! He grumbled. and then demanded his brother to talk to him. He didn't understand what was going on. his eyes had just opened at only a few days ago, and his brother was now ignoring him. Get up! He whined/Barked, and then poked his brother with his paw.

Motaki let out a loud whine, and then hid into the Wolf's fur. "I'm Motaki, My brother is ignoring me!" He chuffed, his eyes watery. He then let out an angry grumble, and then wiped his tears away. "Why is he ignoring me?" "Do I not look like a mhweewa anymore?" He said, Him burying himself into the fae's soft fur.

Motaki felt himself being lifted, and he then let her bring him into the den. He was VERY hungry though. He let out a "Hungry Whine" Saying that he wanted food. He then saw her wrap around him, and then he whined again. He was really hungry.

Kota looked at the pup as he whined. Flicking back through her memory she relised that it was the hungery whine as adults dubbed it. She stood and tore a bit of the elk carcass off. She carried the meat back to the pup looking uncertain. Laying back down she placed the meat on her front fore paws and bit off a small amount and chewed it into a mince and offered it to the pup with worried green eyes.

(I can only eat chewed meat )

Motaki hungrily feasted on the chewed meat, and grumbled as he did so. He then licked the bone clean, Blood all over his chops. he then let out a tired grumble, and staggered over to The Wolf "What Is Your Name, Misses!?" He cheerfully said, his grey eyes looking into hers.

((Oh good cause Kota never really raised pups or had anything to do with them once she was an apprentice))

"I am Dikota aslo called Kota. Do you want some more meat?" she answered Motaki. The brown killer wasn't used to caring for pups but she silently promised that she would do her best for this pup. She had been told in her old pack that she would never have her own after a bull had almost crushed her hind legs and spine. She was lucky to be alive and well again.

Motaki shook his head, and then let out a loud yawn. He then dragged a small bit of meat closer tp him, for a "Nighttime snack" as he called it. He then yawned again, and walked towards a small corner of the den, whom he picked out as his "Spot." He then curled up, and waited for sleep to come. He said softly to Dikota: "Yigaquu osaniyu adanvto adadoligi nigohilvi nasquv utloyasdi nihi" and then waited for her to respond.

Motaki couldn't help but chuckle. "Yigaquu osaniyu adanvto adadoligi nigohilvi nasquv utloyasdi nihi Means May the Great Spirit's Blessings Always Be With You." He said, and then walked up to her. His eyes seemed to glow as he then said "That was how they talk were I come from..." He then let out a happy smiled, and then nipped on Dikota's ear. He then pawed her fur, and then let out a short bark. This was a happy ritual native american pups would do.

Motaki heard her speak in such a strange language, and then he cocked his head, and said, His voice muffled as he chewed on her ear. "What language do Nihi speak?" he asked, and then he whined, for she took her tasty ear away from him. He then noticed her tail. Without even listening to the answer to his question, he leaped on the tail, and immediatley chased and tumbled with it. He then chewed And Chewed... And Chewed... And Chewed... And Chewed... And Chewed... And Chewed...

"But I'm a guy wolf, So does that mean I'm your little sweet boy?" He happily said, pausing from chewing at her tail. He then smiled, and waited for her to respond.

Motaki smiled, and then he huddled up to her. It was now getting dark, and he needed to sleep. "I call you my Whakan mum" He said sweetly, and then nuzzled into the soft underbelly of her fur. This fae needed him, Almost as much as he needed her. He smiled, and then closed his eyes, waiting for Kota to wrap her tail around him, so he can sleep happily, and Where he truly belonged. With his new mother.

"Mum?" Kota whispered. Her green eyes filled with tears of joy as she wrapped her tail around her pup as he nuzzled her soft underbelly. She couldn't belive that she had a son even though he wasn't hers by blood. The killer felt a strong surge of love and fierce protectiveness for Motaki.

Motaki smiled. He had made his new mother happy. He then had curled up, and waited for sleep to come, a smile still on his face. He wanted this new fae to be his mum, and now she was! He huddled deeper into her soft fur, and then let out a loud yawn, and closed his eyes...

Ignoring the slight pain from her wound Dikota shifted into a full curl. She wrapped her son in her soft fur and warmth. Her tounge gently ran over his dark pelt with loving care. A soft hum came from her as she soothed Aki into a peaceful place to help him fall asleep.
